Day One

A New Decade

Katam Hill LLC launched in 2020. Today marks the dawn of a new decade.  What a fitting time to embark on this journey together. 

Katam Hill LLC is the culmination of nearly two decades of professional investing across every life-cycle stage of a company.  From an internship in Midtown Manhattan during my undergraduate days, to launching a global public and private long/short equity fund, to early stage investing on Sand Hill Road in the heart of Silicon Valley, to private equity leveraged buyouts and initial public offering roadshows.

We have invested in every sector, across every market cap, and in every geography around the globe. The opportunities are boundless.

Why Now

The upcoming decade promises exciting changes to important challenges that face our planet and society.  An industrial revolution is brewing that will interconnect people, devices, and services in all new ways.

It is technology’s role to continue to push the boundaries of scientific breakthroughs that can make a meaningful impact on the world.

It is my job to recognize their significance and to capitalize on and benefit from the innovation and disruption these changes will bring.

Why Public  

Ultimately, my north star has always been compounding my capital in the public equity markets.  There is nothing else like it in the world.  The infinite possibilities and liquidity that markets provide, despite periods of near-term volatility that may emerge from either paranoia or euphoria, can have a lasting impact on generations to come.

We remain optimistic on the prospects of the world and believe deeply in the power of compounding our respective pools of capital.
